Announcements
The Anuario Americanista Europeo, edited by the Consejo Europeo de Investigaciones Sociales de América Latina (CEISAL) and the Red Europea de Información y Documentación sobre América Latina (REDIAL), has announced a call for articles for the 2013 edition. The central theme of this year’s edition will be “Género y migraciones”.
NorLARNet will award a scholarship of 4,000 kroner per month for a period of 10 months (second semester 2013 and first semester 2014) to a master student enrolled at an academic institution in the Oslo area.
Deadline for applications: 16 May 2013.
The symposium takes place in Trondheim 2 – 6 October 2013 and partakes in the project “Marine Ventures. Comparative perspectives on the dynamics of early human approaches to the seascapes of Tierra del Fuego and Norway.”

As part of the comprehensive exchange programme Science without Borders, Brazil will offer up to 100 Brazilian students at Bachelor and Master level to study at educational institutions in Norway during the academic year 2013-2014. The subjects covered by Science without Borders are mainly within the STEM fields (science, technology, engineering and mathematics).
