A total of 65 applications were submitted to the recent call for proposals of the Latin America programme og the Research Council of Norway. The toal amount applied for is approximately NOK 280 mill. The next call is expected in the fall of 2010. Read more here.
The Research Council of Norway (NFR) has published a call for proposals, announcing that a total of approximately NOK 33 million is presumed available for allocation under the Research Programme on Latin America for 2010. Of this, tentatively NOK 25 million will be allocated to Researcher Projects and NOK 8 million to Personal Doctoral Research Fellowships. Deadline for applications: 25 November 2009. NorLARNet will award a scholarship of 4000 kroner per month for a period of 10 months to a student enrolled at the University of Oslo who will write a master thesis on a topic that is related to Latin America and relevant to the network. On 27 April The Research Council of Norway announced the granting of support to seven projects under the Latin America programme. A list of the projects can be found with the announcement from the research council. Next call for applications will be published on the RCN webpages latest mid October with deadline 25th November 2009.
