The Research Council of Norway (NFR) has published a call for proposals, announcing that a total of NOK 25 million is available for allocation under the Research Programme on Latin America for 2011. Of this, tentatively NOK 20 million will be allocated to Researcher Projects, NOK 5 million to Personal Post-doctoral Fellowships and NOK 0,4 million for Support for Events.
Deadline for applications: 13 October 2010.

NorLARNet will award a scholarship of 4,000 kroner per month for a period of 10 months (second semester 2010 and first semester 2011) to a master student enrolled at an academic institution in Central or Northern Norway. Deadline for application: 15 September.
